Wellness City is LDA's health township on Sultanpur Road, Lucknow, laid out on about 1,427 acres in 7 villages. Registration had not opened by 29 Sep 2026.

Status on 29 Sep 2026

• Public registration: not open. No launch date has been announced by LDA.
• Plots given so far: only to landowners who pooled land. The first lottery on 30 Jun 2026 gave 126 plots to 59 landowners.
• LDA plot rate: ₹54,559.17 per sq m (about ₹5,070 per sq ft), reported on 1 Jul 2026. This is the base land price; LDA has not said it will apply to the public sale.
• Second landowner lottery: about 200 plots, announced for Sep 2026; not reported held as of 29 Sep 2026.
• Land deals: sale, purchase and registry in the Phase-1 area have been barred since 6 Jun 2026 without the Collector's written permission.
• Infrastructure: Green Corridor Phase 4 through the scheme is under construction; a 2028 target for services was reported on 14 Sep 2026.

What is Wellness City Lucknow?

Wellness City is a Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) township of about 1,427 acres in its Nov 2025 tentative layout, planned around hospitals, a medical college and wellness centres, with plots and group housing.

• It is being developed mainly through land pooling: farmers give land and get developed plots back.
• The project cost was put at ₹1,441.26 crore in Sep 2024, with 40% from the state's urban expansion scheme.
• LDA's scheme page describes it as health-centric living with multi-specialty hospitals, wellness and fitness centres, and yoga and naturopathy institutes: LDA Wellness City page.

LDA has not announced a public launch or registration date for Wellness City as of 29 Sep 2026. Plots so far went only to landowners who pooled land, through a lottery on 30 Jun 2026. Public dates will appear on LDA's registration portal.

How many acres is Wellness City Lucknow?

LDA's tentative layout of Nov 2025 plans 1,426.57 acres (577.31 ha) in 10 sectors. Reports in 2026 cite 485 hectares for the Phase-1 area. Sector-wise areas and plot counts are in our layout plan guide.

Can I book a plot in Wellness City through a broker?

No. LDA plots in Wellness City will be allotted only through LDA's own lottery once public registration opens. Any offer to "book" a Wellness City plot now, with token money, is outside LDA's process. Private projects nearby must show a UP RERA registration.

Which builders have land inside Wellness City?

LDA's tentative layout marks private land of SMAP Builders, GC Construction, Baba Infra, Sri Raj Infra and Durga Green Infra inside the scheme. It does not call them approved. Details and RERA status: private townships in Wellness City.
