Omaxe City Lucknow is a delivered plotted township by Omaxe Ltd on Raebareli Road. It does not appear on the UP RERA registered list (checked 26 Sep 2026). Omaxe City Lucknow is the older of Omaxe's two Lucknow townships — about 140 acres of plots and villas on Rae Bareli Road, delivered around October 2011. It is important to say clearly, because the market confuses them constantly: Omaxe City is NOT Omaxe Metro City. Metro City is the separate, currently selling township at Village Kalli Paschim, Tehsil Sarojini Nagar, near SGPGI. Omaxe City is finished, occupied and resale-only. Most portals index "Omaxe City" as a locality rather than a project, and several mix Metro City's RERA numbers, prices and possession dates into it. Because Omaxe City was handed over some five years before RERA came into force in Uttar Pradesh in 2017, it has no UP RERA registration — and correctly so. A completed pre-RERA township does not require one. If a listing shows you a UPRERAPRJ number against Omaxe City, it almost certainly belongs to Metro City or to one of Omaxe's Gomti Nagar projects. The township was planned as plots, villas and independent houses with a modern club, a local shopping centre, a grocery store, an open gym for children, landscaped greens, large open spaces, parking and round-the-clock security. Published plot sizes include 194 square yards and larger parcels of roughly 3,100 and 4,850 sq.ft, with built houses commonly between 1,200 and 2,200 sq.ft. One source puts the township at 2,040 units. On pricing, there is no developer price list — there cannot be, because Omaxe has no primary inventory here. Current resale asking prices across plots, houses, villas and apartments span a very wide range, and archived launch-era numbers still circulate on portals as though they were current. Current market listings put units here at roughly ₹43 Lakh – ₹1.5 Cr; the exact figure depends on tower, floor and condition, so confirm the live price and inventory with us before deciding. One factual caution we will not smooth over. Omaxe's own page puts Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport at 3 km and Charbagh at 5 km, while a major portal describes the airport as a fifteen-minute drive. The airport sits on Kanpur Road and Omaxe City is on Rae Bareli Road, so the 3 km figure is difficult to reconcile with the geography. Check the drive yourself. The figure we are confident in is Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University at about 500 metres. What Omaxe City offers is what no new launch can: a fifteen-year-old township with mature trees, working infrastructure, a functioning residents' community and visible maintenance standards. For a buyer who wants land or a built house in south Lucknow and is willing to buy resale, this is a place to walk before you decide.
